Fort Lauderdale Fishing Charters 1/25/14
The weather continues to wreak havoc on South Florida offshore fishing. Each passing cold front makes seas rough and sends deeper and farther offshore. When the weather settles down though, the fish are still there.
Anglers fishing with me aboard the Reel Work out of Fort Lauderdale on Saturday had a good day fishing. We caught some bonito, kingfish and a big sailfish. I expect the mahi to start showing back up on the nicer days along with more sailfish and kingfish.
It looks like the good weather will hold up for the first part of this coming week, so the fishing should stay good. February is just a few days away so the number of passing cold fronts should become weaker and fewer in numbers. Until then, watch for when the fronts will pass through and try to plan your charter around them.
The New Year is a great time to catch sailfish off of Fort Lauderdale! Be sure to fill in the form on the left side of this page, go to our contact page or give us a call to set up your Fort Lauderdale fishing charter.
