Fort Lauderdale Fishing Report 12-20-13
Anglers fishing with me aboard the Reel Work out of Fort Lauderdale Friday afternoon had a fun day catching mahi, wahoo, bonito and mackerel. This was a shared charter. A shared charter is when two or more people pool there resources to charter our boat for a day or afternoon. It is a great way for people who don’t have the resources to charter a trip on there own to go on a deep sea fishing adventure without having to rub shoulders with 30 or more strangers.
It was another beautiful South Florida day with warm temperatures and moderate winds. We headed out to the fishing grounds and started trolling around pods of bait fish and weedlines. It did not take long before the mahi started to bite. Some Spanish mackerel joined in the fun along with a couple of bonito and a respectable wahoo. Everybody had a good time catching fish and cheering on there new found fishing buddies.
Winter is here and the fishing is great. Fill in the form on the left side of this page or go to our contact page to set up your Fort Lauderdale fishing adventure. Book early to make sure you get the day you want to fish.
