Labor Day Fishing Fun

Labor Day was a good day for some hard working folks to go out on a Fort Lauderdale fishing charter for some serious fishing fun. We had a morning charter and an afternoon charter on Monday. The bonito bite was really good in the morning. We also managed to catch some nice snapper. The afternoon charter was just the opposite. Our anglers had a great time catching there limit of vermillion snapper and they got a few bonito.

On the morning charter we headed offshore to do some trolling. We did not see any kingfish, tuna, wahoo or sailfish this time but there were plenty of bonito to keep our anglers busy. All of our anglers got there turn catching several of these speedy and hard fighting fish. On our way back in we decided to drop baits down on a few of the many wrecks just offshore of Ft Lauderdale. Our anglers were rewarded with a few nice snapper for there efforts.

On the afternoon charter I headed back out to the Gulf Stream to see if we could get back into the bonito. We managed to catch a few but the bite had slowed so we headed back to the wrecks to try for some more tasty snapper. It turned out to be a good move. Each of our anglers caught there 5 fish limit of vermillion snapper.

Summer may be officially over but as the days grow shorter the fishing will heat up even further. Fill in the form on the left side of this page or give us a call to set up your Fort Lauderdale fishing charter.
