Ft Lauderdale Fishing Report 1/ 2013
Fort Lauderdale offshore fishing has been a little slow for the last couple of weeks. Unusually warm weather for this time of year seems to have the fish confused.
There have been a few sailfish around and I have heard of some wahoo being caught, but not many. Kingfish, bonito and mahi-mahi have also been scarce. The best thing biting lately has been grey and blue line tilefish.
Fishing should improve as the next series of cold fronts move into South Florida and bring temperatures back to where they should be for this time of year.
