Ft Lauderdale Fishing September 08 Report
Well, it’s wasn’t the best month as far as the weather went, but the fishing has been good when we have been able to get out. There was a pretty good mahi bite for most of the second half of the month. The kingfishing was consistent with a great bite the last week of the month. The wrecks and artificial reefs have had some nice amberjacks and a few big barracuda. There were also some sailfish and sharks around when the conditions were right. The vermillion snapper have started to show up again. The fishing was spotty at first but got more steady toward the end of the month. October, when the cold fronts start moving through, is usually the start of sailfish season. I,ll let you know what happens.
